rotor

It's always great to see a group get their gig together in an usual venue. The Berlin based rock instrumental band RotoR somehow got a gathering of friends together back in 2009 and traveled 60 miles South West of Berlin where just outside the small village of Lobbese some disused farm buildings became the venue for their performance.
With the back drop of an old barn building, what looks like a water tank and nicely placed additional prop of a standard lamp they played into the night to the select audience in their own version of Dunajam.
In the video they play their new psychedelic rock instrumental 'Costa Verda' with the full version excellently filmed, as you would expect, from the Deutche camera crew.
As one YouTube commentor puts it "Why doesnt this happen in America? Awesome Stoner bands, everyone's chillin', grillin', smokin' down, band doesn't give a shit they aren't playing some massive venue, they are just into it...".
Well it use to happen in America, and the UK, and other places some decades ago, it's just heart warming to see some cool people can still avoid the beaurocracy and commercialism that ruins it most of the time today.
Go to RotoR's website and you'll be able to pick some free mp3's and see what else they're doing.
Here is their excellent work out on 'Costa Verda' from their album '4'.
