With Nine Inch Nails ripping in to this summers festivals three new songs have been premiered from the much anticipated 'Hesitation Marks' album. "Copy Of A", "Find My Way" and "Disappointed" (see previous post for the live version of "Find My Way").
Now the actual cut from the album surfaces of "Copy Of A". Sounding excellent from the off with sequenced electronics reviving an 80's disco beat like something from Giorgio Moroder (remember?). Reznor's voice sounds in fine form as was evident by the live clips and here he floats an almost Eastern counter melody to the pumping electro. Clever words too.. "copy of a copy of a copy of a... "
'Hesitation Marks' is out September 3rd. It's gonna to be big.

Nine Inch Nails continue their return since 2009, and since Bassist Eric Avery and Adrian Belew quit earlier this year, with a concert at the Fuji Rock festival in Japan early this Friday (yes it's that time zone thing). The gig was also broadcast on live webstream but it would have been a proxy minefield to actually receive it in your region.
With the sets middle section gearing down to a quiter section Trent Reznor unveiled a new song "Find My Way" from the forthcoming album 'Hesitation Marks', due September 3rd.
A respectful Japanese audience listen quietly... well actually you'd never know they were there until the end.

As the revelers of the mid summer summer solstice at Stonehenge are packing their druid bags for another year we'll celebrate the festival of the sun with a tribute to the road crew of Nine Inch Nails who thoughtfully laid on their very own 'Stonehenge' moment as a surprise for the band.
Watch for the bass players reaction as the guitarist encounters the magnificence of the moment.
