elder tearing up roadburn

Elder release their third album with a live recording of the band playing live at the 2013 Roadburn Festival, Holland. Their tour to Europe was the first time the band had been out of the States and this recording proves just how much the audience and the band loved the moment. Elder created something special that day and whoever had to follow this band on the stage would have had a most unenviable task.

"it's probably the biggest honour we're gonna have in our lives... in our shitty 9 to 5 lives"

Recorded April 20th, this year and released November 15th. This live set is what festivals are all about and it's instilled in an album of terrific 70's influenced power trio playing and all wrapped up in some great artwork. If you were there this is a must own, if you weren't this will make you wish you were.
Lets give them a name check, Elder are Nicholas DiSalvo, Jack Donovan and Matthew Couto.
Now name your price for a download in all formats or pre-order a vinyl all from their bandcamp page. The widget below streams the album and you can order from that as well.

roadburn 2014

The lineup and tickets for Europe's leading psyche and stoner festival, Roadburn, are announced. They're all very excited about the teaming up of two German bands in particular.

"We’re thrilled to announce that two of the most fascinating European improv / psychedelic bands, Papir (DK) and Electric Moon (DE), will bring their tranced-out psych kraut exclusively to Roadburn 2014, channeling their mysterious cosmic vibes in The Papermoon Sessions as part of the Afterburner on Sunday, April 13th at the 013 venue in Tilburg, The Netherlands."

When it comes to interstellar jams the German groups are way out there and these two are amongst the best, listen to their 21 minute cosmic fusion of Electric Monn and Papir's 'The Circle'.
It should be quite an event for all the right reasons (it's Holland!!). The Roadburn website takes the ticket booking and all the other info you'll need.
