pond / tame impala

Perth band Pond do a neat line in psychedelic rock. Sharing a couple of members from fellow Oz group Tame Impala they've released a spaced out wah flanged single called 'Moth Wings', taken from their recent album 'Beard, Wives, Women'. They've done their homework on the late 60's psych era and have come with a convincing sound to keep the genre rolling in today's somewhat untrippy times.
It's available as free download from soundcloud for a limited period.

And while we're in the heady heights of psychedelia have a listen to Tame Impala's - 'Half Full Glass Of Wine' (no that shouldn't that be lager) it could have easily fitted into Cream's debut album Disraeli Gears'. For those that like Rock that comes in colours this will definitely hit the mark.
