Days of the New are an American grunge, or alternative rock band formed in 1995 by Travis Meeks. The band have had three albums to date named after the colours of the discs and liner notes within. They mainly play acoustic rock tracks the majority of which are written by Meeks. A fourth album which has been in production for several years is due for release this year titled Days of the New Presents Tree Colors.
There have been many linup changes within the band, but they have gained a large following and have toured with bands such as Metallica and Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains.
