Last night in Austin, Texas. Stiff Little Fingers played a tough set of their original punk sound.
Unlike most punk bands from the late seventies (if they're around) end up looking like, and even worse sounding like parodies, Stiff Little Fingers still keep it real. No surprise really as punk was always better placed in the hands of the N.Irish bands anyway.
The line up was Jake Burns, Alie McCordie (original members), Ian McCallum and Steve Grantley. Two numbers from them, the last being their best known 'Alternative Ulster'. Good on you guys. It don't sound a day older.
