uncle acid crawling in your mind

For anyone who doesn't know Uncle Acid and The Dead Beats our July post on the band will do much to put their new track and video in context.
Although the record label is spinning some pretty rich hyperbole about them..
"taking rock music back to its ritualistic beginnings"
...but naturally that's what we've all come to expect and loathe about record labels puffing up there product...
"feature an exclusive b-side, Get on Home - a brand new recording of a song originally written and recorded by Charles Manson."
..so does the end result of that mean some royalties are headed to that maniac in the cell block? Surely no.. more likely it's heading towards the IRS in the States for his up keep.
Anyway the single taken from their 2013 album 'Mind Control' is really good rock and roll psychedelia and the video is a classy or grim, depends how you see this stuff, montage of just about every controversial media/film clip from the 1960's.
And whatever all this brings about, the Cambridge UK guys have done enough to get themselves on a Black Sabbath tour over this November and December.
And yes there is a bit with Manson's gob. See if you can spot it amongst all the other outrage that people lived through 50 years ago.
It's all about the "Mind Control" in the era.
