It's a bit of miss naming just to describe them as a stoner rock band as there sound is not leaning to heavy metal but psychadelic hard rock. One listen and it's instantly noticeable these guys have been working together for some time and their instinctive and sharp playing is what a live band is all about.
You may have heard bands coming from the 60's and 70's playing this way but this is not music that's got a sell by date when it's played with this intent and quality. Basically good playing is good playing.
This new generation of German bands (also see Berlin's Samsara Blues Experiment) have discovered what some rock bands were working out 40 years ago and they are proving this is no lost art and are taking the sound on into another century.
It's worth naming these guys
Manfred Merwald - drums, Philipp Rasthofer - bass, Stefan Koglek - guitar & vocals.
