screaming trees

Formed in the mid 80's the Screaming Trees are one of the bands known as the Godfathers of Grunge. They were one of the most successful underground bands of the grunge movement in the 90's along with other bands such as Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Nirvana.
The band split in 2000 after releasing seven full albums. At the time of their split they had been working on writing a further album which was never released. However, in August 2011 these tracks were finally released as the album Last Words: The Final Recordings.
