It killed Les Harvey instantly.
Lead guitarist of Stone The Crows, and brother of singer Alex Harvey (see post) died May 3rd 1972.
Stone The Crows had become a familiar name to festival and college audiences in the early 70's with their blues rock behind the scorching vocals of Maggie Bell.
It was a devastating loss for the group and a year later they folded.
