The drummer who backed the blues giants T-Bone Walker, Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters in some classic recordings and tours, died this day in 1998.
Here's some superb footage of Muddy Waters in 1968 at the Copenhagen Blues Festival with Leary on the kit.
