28th November 1974. The last stage performance of John Lennon. Performing as a guest for Elton John at Madison Square Gardens and doing 3 songs the last of which was the old Beatles song "Saw You Standing There". Lennon then went into self imposed retirement and 6 years later he was gone for good.
At least his last song was playing rock and roll which is where it had all begun more or less 14 years earlier.
