There isn't a whole lot recorded about his background pre 1970's although
he's generally considered a part of the "West Side Sound" of Chicago blues. His first record is a little better known 'Fast Fingers' released 1969 but his most prolific output was in the 1970's, although continued to record the occasional albums every decade up until 2004.
He began his own record label in the 1980's (Leric Records), and was more interested in promoting other artists at the time.
A great lead player and singer, he should be far more widely known.
